What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telco Network Engineer position at Cynet Systems?
Job Description :
Pay Range : $70hr - $75hr
Requirement :
- 3 years of experience in telecom domain, deploying telco NFV on public / private cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of telco NFV, 5GC, IMS core, open shift platform, container networking, SDN.
- Must be able to create technical requirement documents based on discussion with application owners / stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including cloud architects to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing management of telco applications.
- ble to create technical documentation for the onboarding process, best practice.
- Collaborate with application team to ensure seamless integration of telco network function in Open shift container platform (OCP).
- ble to support network automation and orchestration for cloud native environments.
- Knowledge of network automation and orchestration tools - Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Graph QL.
- Proficiency in scripting language- Python, bash for automation.
- Familiar with telecom network protocols and services e.g. SIP, Diameter, MPLS, BGP, VXLAN etc.
- Industry certifications such as CKA, RHOCP, AWS / Azure or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of network function virtualization and container networking.
- Expertise in containerized networking, CNI plugins i.e. Multus, Calico, SR-IOV, Kube-OVN.
- Expertise in defining network policy, external connectivity to OpenShift / Kubernetes cluster.
- Knowledge of data center build on Spine-Leaf architecture CISCO Nexus- N9K platform.
- Experience with DNS resolution, DHCP, IPAM and their integration in dynamic environment like OCP.
