Job Summary
A key role within Cynet Systems, this position requires receiving, inspecting, and unloading goods and materials into inventory. The ideal candidate will process reservations, issue material to end users, and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload goods and materials into inventory
- Process reservations and issue material to end users, including walk-up requests
- Operate various heavy equipment, up to and including forklifts (up to 36,000 lbs), pallet jacks, and carts
- Deliver material to customers, capture proof of delivery signatures, and maintain records of delivered items
- Implement policies to maintain inventory condition and reliability
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, materials management, or related fields
- Proficiency in Warehouse Technician I and II skills
- Thorough understanding of warehouse inventory control systems and purchase orders
- Analytical skills for problem solving, reconciliations, and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of purchasing rules, regulations, methods, and forms
- Expertise in operating light equipment, hand trucks, and vehicles within a warehouse environment
- Proficient barcode usage
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Microsoft applications proficiency
- Materials Management software knowledge
