Duration: 1 year with the intention for contractor to convert to fulltime at the State of Michigan in 1-2 years. At the time of conversion, candidate must be authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship by client
Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission.
Hiring manager is not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept offer. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Position will be hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence 2 days a week.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- 5 years' experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- 5 years' experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others.
- 5 years' experience writing SQL, P-SQL queries.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion).
- Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management.
Interview Process: Hiring manager will likely request onsite interviews. Candidates must be available to interview onsite at the Lansing office. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of any virtual interviews, if requested.
