Job Description:
Design and develop large-scale enterprise software and technology in support of Inspire Brands' digital platforms.
A software engineer plays a pivotal role in crafting a service interface and is responsible for independently developing new applications and consistently redesigning/refactoring a product to adapt to our restaurant brand's needs.
Candidate Technical and Skills Profile
Key responsibilities:
- Write clean and concise code that is stable, extensible, unit tested scalable to brand agnostic in-house API solutions.
- Develop test suites (unit, integration, functional, destructive, etc) to enable success, rapid deployment of code to production.
- Developing and supporting back-end microservices on a large scale, highly transactional, and available technology platforms in cloud infrastructure
Must have technical skills/experience:
- Strong experience in building out microservices using technologies that include Java (Version 11 and above) and Spring Boot
- Any cloud services (such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS),
- containerized app deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Flex Skills:
- NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB)
- Splunk
Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:
- Collaborate in geographically distributed teams in agile processes. Relates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering-related disciplines, or equivalent work experience.
