Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks to move and manage inventory.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels and ensuring proper storage of materials.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 for efficient order processing and inventory control.
• Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse management or similar roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other warehouse machinery.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of order picking processes is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
