Duties:
Responsible for operating a vehicle and driving executive passengers to and from their destinations. Greet passengers, confirms destination, watches for traffic signals, waits for passengers to take them to their next destination.
The Executive Driver will assist in agency fleet operations when not transporting personnel. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with turn-in and pick-up of agency GOVs to and from maintenance and Government Service Administration (GSA) facilities.
- Provide roadside assistance for agency GOVs such as tire inflation and battery charging.
- Assess a vehicle’s condition.
- Take vehicles for cleaning.
- Perform standard daily vehicle tasks (eg: fueling vehicle(s); add air to tires; jump starting batteries; wait with a vehicle for a tow truck company; inspecting vehicle which is not performing properly to assess what might be the problem.
- Transport a vehicle to a specified destination.
- Check agency vehicle information to ensure it is up to date (VIN number, vehicle packets are updated, license plate no., spare key/key box coordination, etc.).
- Updating information stored in a Vehicle or applying stickers.
- Change license plates.
- Transport authorized personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 3 years of experience driving/transporting passengers is required
- Experience navigating a variety of road conditions, including poor weather and occasionally heavy traffic
- Strong sense of direction and navigation skills a plus
- Active drivers’ license in the state is required
- Responsible, safe driving record is required
Full Time: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
