Logistics Program Manager - Colorado

Job Description: 

CYNWAVE Solutions seeks an experienced onsite Program Manager (PM) to oversee comprehensive logistical support for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of the assigned personnel, tasks, and deliverables at designated location(s) while managing all reporting, administrative, and HR-related actions. These include resume review, hiring, disciplinary actions, and direct communication between the Vendor and CO/COR of the VA contract.

As the PM, your leadership responsibilities will include leading the project team, promoting collaboration, and implementing corrective actions to maintain project momentum. This influential role will empower you to ensure all work is completed on time and within budget.  This position is contingent upon contract award.

Daily activities may include:

• Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, and action plans that support the customer's operations and meet productivity, quality assurance, and customer service standards.
• Meet regularly with government supervisory warehouse team(s) to analyze productivity, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. 
• Work with government personnel to adjust staffing levels and/or work procedures to accommodate resources allocated to operate warehouse operations.
• Maintain current and accurate files and records and prepare periodic and special reports.

• Validate all work performed by signing off on production summary documents and generating weekly production reports. 
• Ensure that all contract staff are up to date and compliant with all necessary and required VA Training and certifications for operating warehouse equipment.
• Prepare a summary of each employee's duties performed/accomplishments, including in detail the number of orders and items shipped by warehouse.
• Prepare a detailed warehouse report using Microsoft Excel, specifying the orders and items shipped by commodity and type of order

• Act on behalf of CYNWAVE on the contract's daily requirements, including coordinating with the COR regarding individual performance, managing and assigning work to personnel supporting the contract
• Manage personnel leave, schedules, timecards, etc., and ensure all comply with all government policies.

• Comply with government policies and legal guidelines and help to maintain a safe, orderly work environment and meet performance standards for production and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or Project/Program Management Certification
• 10 Years experience supporting a large corporation or government agency performing duties including planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs in support of an integrated supply chain distribution system
• Strong knowledge and experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations and receipt of goods, storage, order fulfillment, and distribution/shipping.
• Strong decision-making skills
• Proficient in the following: inventory software and systems; Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Office 2010 or latter; data entry; and typing skills.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI).

Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations, and related project management requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and schedules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in project management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and noise.
• Ability to travel to various work sites for inspections and audits as needed.

• Must obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI).
