Title: Investment Consultant
What's required?
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of related experience in a Financial Services Sales position.
- Candidates with Client Service experience... but with a passion for sales will be considered.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
What's a "typical" day like?
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors to market and sell financial products and identify new sales opportunities.
- Work as a partner with the Regional Director to implement a sales strategy.
- Provide value-added ideas and suggestions to clients.
- Assess the needs of clients by asking insightful questions.
- Document information in the CRM system from conversations with financial advisors.
- Creates daily Sales Plan, prioritizing and managing workload.
- Deliver effective presentations promoting the firms’ products and services.
- Develop and enhance industry and product knowledge.
- Make proactive marketing calls within the territory focusing on all levels of sales.
This position is NOT a 100% commission role.
