Position Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Accountant will play a critical role within the Corporate Finance Department. This individual will oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, manage estimated tax payments, and contribute to compliance and reporting efforts. Additionally, the accountant will support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and tax research, while ensuring adherence to evolving tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file various federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Perform and review estimated tax calculations and payments.
- Participate in the preparation and review of the company’s tax provisions.
- Support the Tax Director in managing domestic and international acquisitions.
- Prepare and review international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858) and ensure compliance with FATCA cross-border transaction requirements.
- Conduct tax research to identify issues and provide recommendations, presenting findings to the Tax Director.
- Assist in responding to IRS and state inquiries and audits.
- Stay current with tax law changes and updates, applying knowledge to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Role Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Familiarity with ASC 740 calculations and reporting standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws.
