CREDIT DEPARTMENT CLERK JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
- Assist in the management of all existing consumer and commercial credit relationships
- Onboard all new and updated customer information and loan documentation
- Prepare and provide loan related reports to officers and management
- Prepare and process loan documents for new and existing relationships
- Assist in the processing of all credit disputes
Additional Responsibilities
- Provides internal and external audit assistance
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Performs research for various projects and departments
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Understand responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act through initial and periodic training
- Excellent communication, conversational and people skills with a positive attitude
- Good computer and telephone skills
- Team oriented with good problem-solving skills and must pay attention to details
- This position requires lifting up to 30 lbs.
