We are looking for a Senior Personal Banker who has comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s products, services, policies, objectives and practices.As an officer of the Bank, this position serves in a supervisory capacity and is responsible for overseeing branch operations in the absence of the Senior Relationship Manager. This role helps mitigate risk to the bank through training, security meetings, alarm testing, branch audits and daily decision making of returns and overdrafts. Leadership, client service and organizational skills sets are required to help ensure adherence to Cypress Bank & Trust Quality Service Standards and Core Values. This role is also required to be knowledgeable regarding all branch functions including teller, vault, and new account opening; manages client training and assistance with online banking products including Remote Deposit Capture limits, equipment installation and troubleshooting, and client-initiated wire transfer and ACH origination support and contract maintenance. Also is expected to provide training and support to less experienced bankers and other staff. Partners with Senior Relationship Manager to facilitate sales training and cross-selling objectives for personal bankers and new hires. This role is active in the officer calling program through business development calls which target specific market areas of small to medium size businesses and business professionals. The Senior Personal Banker also assists clients with consumer lending needs and accepting and processing new loan applications.Participates in the referral program in relationship to other lines of businesses within the bank to promote branch deposit and loan growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Complies with the Bank BSA Policy and internal procedures including any related training.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Directly and indirectly supervises branch personnel.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; assisting the Senior Relationship Manager with appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensures branch compliance with the Bank’s BSA / AML / OFAC Program.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies and applicable laws addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college, or three years’ related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required : Microsoft Office; CSI NuPoint Core System and its complementary products.
