About Us:
We are a leading Civil and Surveying firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects with precision and excellence. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Handle vendor and subcontractor communications, including payment applications and compliance tracking.
- Review and monitor contract requirements, billing schedules, and project aging reports.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage and DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) requirements.
- Utilize software tools for efficient project management, billing, and reporting.
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in the following platforms is a plus:
- Project Management & Payment Platforms: GCPay, SupplyPro, Coupa, Sage, Textura, HB1, Procore
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
- Contract review, change order management, and schedule tracking
- Billing, invoicing, and payment reconciliation
- Strong understanding of aging reports and financial project health
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction administration experience
- Familiarity with Civil and Surveying projects is a plus
