Location : Flushing, NY
Shift : Part-Time, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $23.48 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities :
The Housekeeping / Laundry position is responsible for ensuring that resident clothing is properly distributed, organized, tracked, and maintained. Key duties include :
- Maintain control and organization of resident clothing.
- Distribute cleaned clothing daily, ensuring each item is correctly labeled with the resident's name and room number. Any items without legible identification must be relabeled.
- Organize and maintain resident closets.
- When receiving new or used clothing, complete a Resident Clothing Form, accurately noting all items, including personal electronics such as TVs, DVDs, VCRs, etc.
- Foster positive working relationships with team members.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and their families, ensuring clarity in both verbal and written interactions.
