The successful candidate must be dependable and a highly motivated team player.
The maintenance technician completes work orders to maintain HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing to include routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes as may be necessary. When qualified, perform repairs on equipment of the main building energy center, to include chillers, air handlers, actuators, compressors, boilers, water heaters, and the cooling tower. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems, annual coil cleaning and quarterly filter changes. Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs, as well as installation of plumbing and electrical fixtures.
Assist with Resident moves and will serve as a First Responder.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age, due to exposure to chemicals and potentially hazardous equipment. One to three years' experience preferred. Knowledge and compliance with building codes, life safety codes, and other applicable regulations a plus. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
