What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Quality Project Manager position at Cypress HCM?
Responsibilities:
- New source review (NSR), non-attainment NSR, and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting;
- Title V permitting;
- Regulatory air dispersion modeling using US EPA recommended models (e.g., AERMOD);
- Emission calculations and emissions inventory development;
- Best available control technology (BACT) assessments; and
- Regulatory applicability analyses for state, local, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- B.S. or above from an accredited college or university in engineering or a related scientific discipline;
- At least 7 years of air quality consulting experience, with 2 years as a Project Manager;
- Understanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
- Understanding of software and tools applicable to projects (e.g., AERMOD, ArcGIS, TRI-ME);
