Cypress HCM has a contract opportunity for a Process Development Engineer. The successful candidate will join our functional project engineering group and contribute to the design, development, documentation, and validation of new customer products.
This position requires experience with modifying existing products, including defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, tool design, and manufacturing processes, as well as excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is necessary.
- The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- They must be able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Good communication and presentation skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with project teams to discuss design and development initiatives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, issues, and deadlines.
- This person will be responsible for:
- Product design and specification development.
- Materials sourcing and prototype creation.
- Regulatory submission data preparation.
- Manufacturing transfer and support.
- Feasibility studies and testing.
- Equipment selection and documentation.
Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $48.00
