This exciting role will be responsible for designing and implementing the manufacturing equipment processes and procedures. A solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems and products will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Gooding, ID area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of a variety of agricultural and dairy equipment. Responsibilities :
- Design mechanical and hydraulic products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods and studying customer requirements.
- Provide Engineering support to all areas of the business, such as Production, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing, etc.
- Create and maintain bills of materials and manufacturing routings.
- Review and mark up new and existing engineering drawings and engineering specifications for products.
- Design and develop new products.
- Design and Develop production tooling.
- Helps mechanical drafters develop the structural design of products using drafting and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
