Description :
Responsible for project team coordination in support of the implementation of visual merchandising strategies for new and existing stores. This role partners across Visual Merchandising, In-Store Communications, Store Planning, Merchandising, Operations partners and third-party vendors to plan, organize, communicate, implement, and validate end to end execution of key in-store environment initiatives.
This role supports the Implementation Project Management team through creation and management of reporting on project statuses, meeting agendas and recaps, timely follow ups with internal partners, and detailed timelines. With guidance from Sr. and Implementation Project Managers, this role ensures that projects are completed on-time, within budget and meets internal / external partner expectations.
Candidate should be extremely organized and a self-starter with ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Duties :
Project Management (40%)
Assist with creation of project charter for all new projects
Actively monitor project scope and facilitate communication for key stakeholder updates, approvals, and recommendations as needed
Support internal and vendor partner meetings include agenda preparation, notes, recaps, project presentation updates, timeline / calendars and overall project status
Team Support and Organization (30%)
Support the documentation and scheduling needs of the project team
Assist with organization and maintenance of digital records
Partner with Sr. and Implementation Project Managers on ad hoc tasks to support projects and run the business deliverables
Partnerships and Collaboration (30%)
Build relationships and partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate strong communication skills around the goals, activities and risks associated with projects
Leverage data and experience to influence discussions and provide project team recommendations.
Participate in an environment that encourages discussion and fosters collaboration while navigating through ambiguity to implement project deliverables.
Requirements :
1 - 3 Years
Must have strong analytical, attention to detail, as well as organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Microsoft Office Suite
InDesign
Potential for 10% travel
Must have strong communication skills both verbal and in writing specifically in writing store directives / communication.
Previous retail experience preferred
Ability to identify risks and offer recommendations to support risk mitigation
Ability to build constructive relationships in a corporate environment.
