What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Cypress HCM?
A client that manufactures plastic injection molds is looking to hire an Engineering Tech onsite in Forest Lake, Minnesota. This direct hire employee will work on 1st shift and be responsible for understanding, communicating, and verifying conformance to internal and external quality standards of their products.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming and operating CMM's is required.
- Knowledge of systems implementation including ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Experience with basic and advanced measurement tools (OGP, Trimos, tool scopes, etc.);
- Knowledge of blue print reading / GDT
- Understanding of component and / or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems
- Acute eye for details during inspections.
- Understanding of modern manufacturing processes
