About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sr. Product Development Engineer to join our team at Cypress HCM. You will be responsible for leading the development process from concept and ideation through commercialization for client companies.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and develop medical devices from concept through to market release.
- Create and refine product designs, including CAD models and technical documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure design functionality and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
The ideal candidate will have experience with medical device design and development, specifically with design for catheters and extrusions. Additionally, proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD and familiarity with FDA QSR and ISO 13485 medical device regulations are required.
