We have an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to work in our corporate office in Braintree. Previous healthcare billing and payment posting experience required.
Hours are Monday-Friday, some flexibility with scheduling.
Responsible for all activities associated with the posting of receivables within established corporate guidelines. Experience in a healthcare setting / organization is required. Our ideal candidate has 2 years of experience with health insurance billing and payment posting.
Responsibilities :
- Work daily reports of payments received via mail, online credit cards, ACH / EFT deposits or 835 electronic remit files
- Monitor payment summary reports for unposted / unapplied payments through related reports on a regular basis and advise management of irregularities in payment trends
- Monitor and clear remit station errors in a timely manner
- Receive, post payments and reconcile individual checks or batch totals
- Work with team members to obtain needed information to complete posting
- Access clearinghouse portal or insurance company portals and download necessary eobs for posting electronically or manually
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
