Job requirements
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated caregiver with a minimum of one year of experience working with the senior population, including dementia care. Previous work experience in senior living communities is a plus! Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and an in-person CPR and First Aid certification. Additional requirements include the ability to pass a background check, a fingerprint clearance card, and a negative TB test.
Job duties
Each resident will have a personalized care plan tailored to their specific needs, including daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, basic meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and providing transportation for errands or appointments. This role requires efficiently managing these tasks to ensure all residents receive the highest standard of care.
During any downtime between closely scheduled visits, you will be able to serve as a Cypress ambassador in the common areas—engaging with residents, building positive relationships, and promoting our services through friendly interaction and support. You will be supported by our On-Demand Care team.
