What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician I - Pipeline Inspection Trainee position at Cypress In-Line Inspection LLC?
Overview:
1. Become familiar with Cypress equipment, including cleaning, building, equipment, QC policies, HSE standards, and maintenance procedures ensuring quality and proper operation of ILI tools.
2. Assist certified technicians in completing projects in accordance with customer requirements.
3. Responsible for cleanliness of shop and work areas.
4. Assist in the preparation, launching and receiving of ILI systems and associated support equipment.
5. Clean, refurbish and disassembly of equipment after project completion.
6. Proper operation of forklifts, hoists, and cranes as needed.
7. Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvement in the work environment.
8. Ability to work independently or with a team in accordance with project scope.
9. Ability to apply and practice knowledge from informal/formal training, classroom, and OJT.
10. Promote Environmental, Health & Safety and follow safe working practices at all times.
