Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab is looking for a dynamic professional for our Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator position. We provide a range skilled nursing care, long term care, dementia care and rehabilitation therapy.
The Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the nursing departments on a 24-hour basis to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as directed by administration.
The number one priority for this position is maintaining the employee schedules for the facility in accordance with state, company and facility guidelines to ensure that patient care and staffing needs are appropriately addressed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates, coordinates, reports, posts, and manages all functions related to schedules of hourly staff
Notifies appropriate personnel of call-ins and assists with securing coverage Maintains accurate attendance records and notifies management of attendance-related issues
Accurately enters and maintains data relative to scheduling using company software programs Performs other duties as assigned
