Job Title: Key Account Manager - Retail
Reports To: President/CEO
Status: Salary, Exempt
Education and Experience Required:
- College diploma or equivalent and/or related experience and/or training.
General Responsibilities:
The following are the key responsibilities of the Key Account Manager - Retail, though other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
- Identify and develop new retail opportunities to drive company growth and expand market presence.
- Travel to customer sites to build relationships and promote company products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with buyers.
- Negotiate pricing and promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and budget.
- Provide Forecast Insight and Obtain Stocking Agreements.
- Prepare sales presentations, product demonstrations, and Business Reviews.
- Attend trade shows and conferences to promote products, network, and obtain leads.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities on Basecamp, Quickbase, and other company systems.
- Track and report key account performance, highlighting areas for improvement and growth.
- Provide competitive data and market intelligence (samples when available).
- Other duties as assigned.

Competencies Required/Preferred:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in retail sales.
- Proven experience working with retail buyers and executing strategic partnerships.
- Understanding of planograms, in-store execution, and retailer compliance requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail landscape.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate and resolve challenges.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Gmail & Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask.
- Relationship-building skills.
- Preferred:
- Currently living in or willing to relocate to Broward County, Florida.
Vehicles or Moving Equipment Driven as Part of Job:
- Yes, occasional travel may require rental car usage.
