What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Counsel position at CyrusOne Management Services LLC?
We are seeking an Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting initiatives related to domestic and international corporate and real estate transactions. The Corporate Counsel will support global corporate governance and entity management and work closely with the entire global CyrusOne legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and documents related to domestic and international corporate and real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, developments, joint ventures, construction, procurement, and operations
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, and letters of intent
- Monitor and ensure compliance with agreements
- Support global corporate governance, including Board minutes, consents, policies and entity management
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience supporting corporate transactions and financings
- Experience supporting real estate transactions, ideally financing of real estate projects, including data centers or other critical infrastructure
- Experience supporting global corporate governance
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills, with the ability to set priorities and work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and self-manage projects, strong project and people management skills
- Active member of a state bar
- International experience a plus
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
