The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with Horizon Specialist will be responsible for implementing,
maintaining, and optimizing the Horizon EAM system. This role ensures the efficient management of all assets,
improving the reliability and longevity of assets while driving operational efficiency.
The EAM Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies
for asset lifecycle management, ensuring maximum performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
EAM System Management:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Horizon EAM system.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across the system, regularly performing data quality checks.
Develop and maintain EAM-related reports and dashboards using Horizon to support strategic decision-making.
Asset Lifecycle Management:
Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper management of assets, from acquisition to disposal.
Ensure proper tracking, monitoring, and maintenance of all assets within the Horizon system.
Develop and support preventive maintenance strategies to extend asset life and reduce downtime.
Integration and System Optimization:
Work with IT teams to integrate Horizon with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, and procurement systems.
Continuously optimize the Horizon EAM system to align with evolving business needs and industry best practices.
Training & Support:
Provide training and support to employees on the use of the Horizon EAM system.
Create user manuals and documentation for system users.
Troubleshoot issues related to the Horizon system and work with vendors to resolve technical challenges.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for asset management and report regularly on asset performance.
Generate reports to track asset conditions, work orders, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure all asset management practices comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
Monitor and ensure that asset data in Horizon is compliant with audit requirements and governmental reporting.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Finance teams to support seamless integration of asset management practices.
Provide recommendations for improving asset reliability and reducing operational costs based on data analysis from the Horizon system.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to asset management systems, specifically focusing on EAM solutions like Horizon.
Suggest improvements and innovations to the system to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and extend asset lifespans.
Qualifications

Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing and managing Enterprise Asset Management systems, with specific experience in Horizon EAM or similar software.
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance processes, and asset data governance.
Experience in transportation or public transit asset management is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in Horizon EAM software and related tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate and interpret complex data reports.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), ERP systems, and integration techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of asset management best practices and regulatory requirements in the transportation industry.
