What You'll Do
Payroll Management – Administer bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Financial Processing – Process payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions, while preparing payroll-related journal entries for the general ledger.
Compliance & Reporting – Oversee quarterly and yearly reconciliations, ensuring payroll meets federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Payroll Adjustments – Handle terminations, garnishments, PTO accruals, retroactive payments, and other pay modifications with accuracy and discretion.
Employee Support – Manage the payroll inbox, addressing employee inquiries and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Process Optimization – Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee data.
What You Bring
✔ Education & Experience – Background in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent work experience. BS degree a plus!
✔ Payroll Expertise – 3 years of ADP payroll experience (preferably multi-state) and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, Ezlabor, GL Interface, and Custom Reporting.
✔ Tech Savvy – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience posting payroll journal entries in Oracle NetSuite.
✔ Analytical Mindset – Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Communication & Confidentiality – Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining clear and professional communication.
