What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHS Specialist position at Cytiva?
In this role you will have the opportunity to :
- Support the Cytiva Pensacola facility with compliance to all EHS requirements to include develop and maintain EHS procedures - working in coordination with the other departments, as well as assisting the facilities and engineering departments with process changes involving Management of Change.
- Coordinate and maintain training and records for programs including but not limited to : HAZCOMM, Fire Extinguishers, Hot Work, LOTO, Confined Space, Ergonomics, Ladder Safety, Accident Investigation, Personal Protective Equipment
- Conduct / support / coach departments in risk assessment tools and support continuous improvement where gaps are identified, monitoring progress until closed.
- Create, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships with Value Stream Leaders, Managers, Supervisors and Employee representatives and other key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Own and manage Industrial Hygiene monitoring, analysis of reports, and implementation of effective countermeasures as required.
