The Genomic Medicine Intern will gain hands-on experience and exposure to basic cell and gene therapy processes and manufacturing platforms. Interns will work closely with the R&D Cell and Gene Therapy team.
This position reports to the Fast Trak or R&D Leader and is part of the Genomic Medicine business located in Marlborough and will be an on-site role.

What you will do
- Collaborate with biologists and engineers.
- Assist with process optimization efforts.
- Make media, culture cells
- Participate in experimental design and execution, analyze data, and prepare final report.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences or related discipline
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience (class experience acceptable); Working knowledge of statistical methods and design of experiments
- Basic knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of cell and gene therapy is desired but not required.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
