Job Description:
General Summary:
Partnering with the OD Manager, the Recruiting/Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the talent acquisition and employee development functions within the organization. This role involves coordinating recruitment activities, assisting with onboarding, and organizing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Assist in managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including paperwork completion and orientation sessions.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and offer letter distribution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities, job boards, and recruiting agencies to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure smooth execution of recruitment and training activities.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation related to hiring and training.
Learning & Development Support
  • In conjunction with the OD Manager, coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of the site and site supported areas’ training programs to ensure compliance is achieved for all training policies and requirements
  • Ensures business curriculums are assigned in line with needs and specialty requirements in GMP and federally regulated (FDA) bio-pharma manufacturing
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Track and maintain training records, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of training materials and e-learning modules.
  • Schedule and organize employee development initiatives, including leadership training and career development programs.
  • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading content, tracking participation, and generating reports.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve training programs and learning experiences.
  • Assist in OD projects related to performance management, engagement initiatives, and workforce planning.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, presentations, and communications related to recruitment and L&D.
Job Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning and Development or related field is required
  • Min 1-3 years of experience recruiting, learning & development, or HR coordination
  • Must be highly collaborative
  • Must be an experienced, effective presenter and have ability to build high quality presentations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to independently research issues and make effective recommendations using critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (exceptional skills in Excel), Learning Management Systems and/or HRIS; developing and tracking meaningful analytics is required
  • Experience in software/application testing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet competing deadlines
  • Excellent communicator. Able to work both independently and within a team
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Travel of approx. 5%. Must be able to drive and accommodate some air travel.

Typical office environment: noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
