We are seeking Field Engineers to join our team, with our Corporate Office located in Wilton, New York, and frequent travel required.
Job Functions
- Evaluate and analyze construction plans to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Review shop drawing submittals to identify potential issues.
- Measure and track quantities of work in place to maintain project progress.
- Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations, using problem-solving techniques to resolve moderately complex problems.
- Assist with creation of functional project schedules that meet desired deadlines.
- Maintain organized project records, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Demonstrate dedication to safety and maintaining a healthy work environment, adhering to established protocols.
- Work independently and as part of a team, performing various tasks that may include lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and visual tasks such as back-up spotting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or environmental engineering.
- Knowledge of business concepts and accounting principles.
- 1-3 years' experience or internships/co-ops in a heavy civil environment.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Proficient computer skills, with ability to learn new software.
- Values teamwork and effective communication.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and possess a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Frequent travel is required.
