Please include your résumé and cover letter with your application.Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).The successful candidate will have the ability to operate equipment including but not limited to : ExcavatorLoaderDozer (GPS Preferred)RollerSkid steerEssential functions of the position : Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting and hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocolResponsibilities will include but are not limited to : Following safety rules, regulations and procedures is mandatoryMaintain a clean job site : pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazardsPerform material handling and storageThe candidate must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night workBe flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group settingHave the ability to work in extreme weather conditionsRequired Qualifications : Experience in Heavy Highway Construction and / or Site Work preferredMust pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on timeA high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be willing to travel to jobsites in possible remote locationsMust have reliable and punctual attendanceCurrent OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 card holders preferredAbility to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job siteCompensation : Competitive wage commensurate with experience.
