We are currently looking for a OEM and Private Label Global Sales Manager to join our growing, progressive, and collaborative work environment. The OEM and Private Label Global Sales Manager is a global product sales, business development and marketing role, responsible for organizing and coordinating sales growth and relationship management with musical instrument brands and their factories and contract manufacturers. This business includes the private labeling of musical instrument accessories for global brands as well as the supply of bulk products and components for manufacturing operations around the world.  The products offered include, but are not limited to, fretted and orchestral strings, drumsticks, drumheads, woodwind instrument reeds and mouthpieces and other general accessories. This position reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer.  They will work closely with our Sales Team, Marketing/Artist Relations, Regional Office teams and Supply Chain to achieve brand/company objectives.  All activities and products will align with corporate goals and governance policies. Remote candidates will be considered.  However, the position requires 25% travel, a blend of domestic and international.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve our business plan and growth strategies for global adoption of our products for OEM manufacturers and brands looking for best in class private label partners. 
  • Work with manufacturing and product development teams to coordinate the development and maintenance of all company OEM and Private Label products.  
  • Work with our regional offices to attract new customers and provide streamlined logistics.  
  • Drive new revenue opportunities – expanding adoption and new products that can be used to support global growth. 
  • Business oversight – responsible for P&L, KPIs, budgets, brand alignment, and regular reporting on the OEM and Private Label part of our business. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in corporate sales or related experience. 
  • Knowledge of musical instrument products, brands, suppliers, supply chain partners and sales channels preferred. 
  • Candidate must have strong leadership, business, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Confidence with data and business analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau a plus
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Formal project management certification or experience preferred 
  • A self-starter who can work independently with the ability to craft a strategy as well as the proven ability to execute. 
  •  Analytical and numbers driven, including managing a diverse group of customers, budgeting, forecasting, individual/team sales targets, terms of sale negotiations and trend analysis. 

 

 

 

 

The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $70k-$90k per year
