DCI Engineers - San FranciscoDCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20 offices spanning the United States, has opportunities for full-time & part-time BIM Designers in its San Francisco office.We are seeking talented and detail-oriented BIM Designers with Revit experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) to support project delivery. You'll collaborate closely with our engineers to ensure high-quality and efficient designs.Responsibilities of a BIM Designer : Generate high quality 2D & 3D construction documents per company standards.Develop comprehensive 3D models of building elements, such as walls, floors, beams and structural components, using Revit softwareWork closely and communicate with project engineers and managers regarding projects and scheduling.Support project teams in delivering high-quality BIM deliverables on time and within budget.Use redline mark-ups and sketches to develop Revit models and construction documents.Organize and maintain project files according to established company protocols.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and software developments.Requirements for a BIM Designer : Proficiency in the use of Revit design softwareExperience working with structural design teamsStructural (steel, concrete, wood, and masonry) drafting / design experience desiredConstruction knowledgeStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Interested in learning and growthEffective communication skillsApproachable and service orientedAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.Start your journey, chart your course - DCI is ME (My Experience)!At DCI Engineers you are sure to find your adventure with a great group of people and a lifestyle you crave.
