Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Softball Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, sports coaching, or health club environments, with the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching softball lessons in a private and/or group setting in all aspects of the game.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students in various physical activities.
- Provide hands-on instruction in softball hitting, fielding, throwing, and/or pitching.
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, drills, and games to promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in teaching or coaching physical education or sports is preferred.
- Prior collegiate softball experience and/or high level travel softball
- Strong knowledge of the sport of softball.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
