Full job description
D-BAT NW Denver is looking for a Pro Shop Assistant to help us maintain the front end and client-facing portion of the facility! We're growing fast and could use an energetic, outgoing, and passionate person to give clients a comfortable and unparalleled experience. Baseball or softball experience is great but by no means necessary! As a Pro Shop Assistant, you will oversee our retail store's daily operations. Your duties will include:
-Explaining facility services. Educating customers on membership options. Leading clients to the right instructor for their child. Selling baseball and softball equipment and apparel.
- Working with GM to meet sales goals
- Implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve targets
- Supervising inventory management and ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
- Managing the overall appearance of the store to enhance the customer shopping experience
-Checking in and out customers. Receiving phone calls to answer a variety of consumer questions
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong organizational abilities to effectively manage store operations
- Sales skills to drive revenue growth
- Knowledge of retail practices and principles. And a willingness to be an expert in baseball and softball equipment
