About the Role:
A prestigious luxury resort in the Dominican Republic is seeking an experienced Banqueting Manager to lead and oversee all event operations, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable guest experience. This role requires exceptional event management skills, leadership, and attention to detail to maintain the highest hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute private events, weddings, corporate meetings, and banquets.
- Collaborate with clients to tailor events to their unique needs and expectations.
- Oversee banqueting service operations, ensuring flawless execution.
- Lead and coordinate service and culinary teams for smooth event delivery.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring all equipment and materials are available.
- Monitor costs and maximize event profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants or 5-star luxury hotels (Auberge, One & Only, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton).

Expertise in event planning, fine dining service, and team management.

Strong knowledge of wines and spirits to enhance guest experiences.

Background in high-end hospitality training with a focus on service excellence.

Fluent in English (Spanish or French is a plus).
