This Sr. Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager position is designed for significant career advancement, offering a direct route for individuals aiming to progress to management levels within our organization. Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities span a broad spectrum inclusive of project planning/scheduling, resource allocation, subcontractor relations, sequencing of the work, safety and NC Building Code compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This individual needs to be teachable, communicative and have leadership skills in managing all aspects of field construction for all projects.

Core Responsibilities:

Assisting in coordinates and supervising all construction activities and understands all phases of construction.

Assists in directing and managing of all subcontractors, and field personnel to complete all projects on schedule, on budget with high quality, conforming to the construction documents, specifications and building codes.

Efficiently sets timeline goals for each project and maintains construction schedules as well as problem identification and solutions.

Must be able to easily understand and interpret construction documents, specifications, and building code requirements.

Must be able to grow and maintain positive working relationships with customers, staff, contractors, suppliers, consultants, inspectors and municipalities.

Assists in Preparing and updating schedules and supervises all projects thru construction, final punch list and timely follow-ups with warranty items.

Assists in scheduling and meeting inspectors for all necessary inspections throughout the building process.

Promotes job site safety, uses safe work practices and immediately rectifies jobsite hazards, and maintains clean, safe, and organized job sites.

Enforces all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable laws for all employees/staff and contractors on job sites.

Supervisory Day to Day Responsibilities:

Supervising the work efforts of subcontractors by scheduling, instructing, managing, motivating, and inspecting the quality of work performed by each subcontractor and ensuring compliance with the plans and specifications.

Ensure all selected items are implemented and ensure all contract obligations are fulfilled.

Resolve day-to-day jobsite issues.

Fully accountable for each project’s quality standards

Hold all contractors responsible for the daily clean-up and provide safe working environments at all job sites.

Daily inspections of all contractor’s work and inspect all completed work before contractors are paid.

Be aware of ever-changing building codes and OSHA requirements.

Perform checklists reports and complete punch list audits thru the production process and before the handoff to the client.

Represent the company in a positive, competent and professional manner at all times.
