Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

D & D Delivery Inc. is looking for committed individuals to become Local FedEx Drivers in the Durham, NC area. If you have a passion for driving, excel in customer service, and seek a rewarding career opportunity, this role is perfect for you!

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid driver's license with a spotless driving history.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Maneuver up to 150 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient time management.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with GPS devices and mapping software.
• Previous experience in package delivery or a similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery vehicle (typically a cargo van or truck) to transport packages to residential and commercial locations.
• Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while optimizing efficiency.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
