Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and performing tasks related to excavation and construction projects. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in various environments. The Driller will play a crucial role in ensuring that drilling operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate drilling equipment, including Caterpillar machinery, to perform excavation tasks.
- Conduct grading operations to prepare sites for construction.
- Utilize loaders and bulldozers for material handling and site preparation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of drilling equipment, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to build, pave, and dig according to project specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in drilling operations or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in grader operation, bulldoze, tanker driving, and commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations is an asset.
- A valid driver's license is required; commercial driving experience is a plus.
