Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties, ensuring that all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris.
- Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of flooring.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings as required.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and techniques is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and industrial cleaning methods, is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve common goals.
