Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including break rooms and conference rooms
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies
- Follow established safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment
Skills:
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as buffing and waxing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
