Reporting Relations:
Accountable and Reports to: Director of Meat Operations, Production Managers and Supervisors
Positions that Report to you: None
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and ensuring food safety. Report any food safety deviations to your supervisor immediately.
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
- Ensure correct chemicals and formulations are used to clean equipment and surrounding areas.
- Work safely with chemicals ensuring personal protective equipment is used as issued.
- Ability to work as a team meeting time and sanitation requirements.
- Performs pre-operational checks on equipment as needed.
- Ability to be flexible in work hours to meet production requirements.
- Monitors and implements HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
- Performs other job-related duties and assists in other areas of plant as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
- Attention to detail and follow through.
- Must be knowledgeable of sanitation practices and standards.
Education and Experience:
Food manufacturing or sanitation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This is considered an unskilled position. Frequent to constant handling, grasping, constant listening, talking, hearing, seeing, reading, dealing with people, influencing others, evaluating information.
Working Conditions:
- Duties performed in production floor.
- Will be required to work under time constrains and be flexible in hours worked.
- Ability to adapt to changes throughout daily operation.
- Must have the ability to work independently.
