What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at D&D Garage Doors Inc?
Function:
The primary function of the Estimator is to perform all duties associated with the estimating, selling, processing and collection of all Commercial projects. These are garage doors, dock levelors, speed doors, fire doors, rolling steel doors etc . It is the duty of the Estimator to ensure that all stages of these orders in which they are responsible are handled in an accurate, professional, and timely manner.
Estimating:
The Estimator is responsible for all bids supplied to D&D Garage Doors Commercial Accounts.. Due to the size and scope of this business, it is imperative that all bids are provided to these accounts in a timely and accurate manner, providing the correct material requested per plans, specs, or written requests and by the deadline provided. The bids should be presented in a precise and professional manner, free of errors, with all job details and materials clearly stated so the receiver will have no questions about what product is being presented.
Job Requirements:
- Position: Estimator
- Pay: Salary commission
- Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
- Travel: Minimal
- Environment: Office
- Education: High School Diploma/College Preferred
