We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Door Installer to join our team. Duties
- Install garage doors and related hardware according to specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, assembling, and installing garage door components.
- Perform metal stud framing as necessary for door installations.
- Conduct glass installation for windows or panels within garage doors.
- Apply caulking to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of installed doors.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Handle heavy lifting of garage door materials and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during installations.
- Assist with drywall work or frame carpentry as needed during installation projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, frame carpentry, and glass installation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on job sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for travel to various job sites.
