We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Employee to join our team at Canary Closets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the receiving, unloading, and stocking of inventory.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery (training provided).
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
- Ensure the machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Conduct regular machine assessments
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
- Performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials, and products.
- Set-up and manage machines to perform different jobs including cutting, edging and assembling cabinets.
- Translate drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Controlling machines and processes.
- Analyzing information and finding the best solutions to problems.
- Maintaining clear and honest communication at all times.
- Keeping the work environment clean and safe.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
