Coax Splicing Technician
D&D Service is looking to hire a Coax Splicing Technician to work in the Minneapolis, St. Paul Minnesota area.
The use of tools / equipment and work “but not limited to” explanation of duties and requirements for a Coax Splicing Technician.
Test Equipment: Volt Meter, XM2 Field Meter
Work Description: Read and discern CATV maps. Splice and repair/replace coaxial fittings and equipment to achieve the vendor’s desired results. Knowledge of all types of coax cables incl. P1- P3- QR. Splice, Activations and or rebalancing of plant is daily task and is to be completed in an efficient and safe manor. Operate bucket truck (Aerial lift truck). Be available to perform night time cutovers which will pay double your hourly rate. Be able to work in all types of weather conditions. Repetitive use of all hand tools and bodily movement such as walking, kneeling, bending, grasping, reaching, lifting, and standing. Ability to lift 50lbs. daily / repeatedly for an extended period of time. Early and late shift possibilities.
Salary – $25.00 – $35.00. A Splicers salary can very depending of overtime but yearly salaries can very depending on overtime and nighttime cutovers from $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager.
