Overview
We are seeking an experienced Underground Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will must have 6 years of directional drilling experience. Will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of Underground construction processes, safety regulations, and project management.
Duties
- Supervise field construction coordinator activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Coordinate project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure that all work is performed according to specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to terms and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain quality control.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in contract management and working with various subcontractors is preferred.
