Title: Sales Associate (Part Time)
Classification: Non-Exempt
Hourly Range*: $23.00/hour
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Alchemy Works is seeking an outstanding Part-Time Sales Associate to exclusively focus on selling DÔEN product in the Alchemy Works store within Lido Village, Newport Beach. This role will report directly to Alchemy Works, the Employer of Record, yet focus on DÔEN's Shop in Shop location. The Part Time Sales Associate is essential to the team ensuring a profitable and service-minded shop, responsible for driving client experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Customer Service
Demonstrate extraordinary service by leading by example on the sales floor
Greet customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner
Provide the highest level of personalized client experience to our loyal and growing customer base
Provide styling advice based on brand aesthetics and excellent firsthand product knowledge
Be able to drive business through reacting to customers’ needs and wants
Build and maintain client relationships
Meet and exceed sales and productivity goals as an individual and as part of the store team
General
Arrives on time and be floor ready with a professional presence in line with the Dôen brand
Maintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized
Respond promptly to internal and external communication
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability and understanding of receiving and processing merchandise/inventory management
Process sales and returns through the POS systems with accuracy and efficiency
Perform daily operations and closing procedures
Protect store assets and inventory
Be proactive and take initiative
Understand and follow the employee handbook and company guidelines including but not limited to core values, dress code guidelines and customer service guidelines
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a fashion retail environment. Luxury retail preferred.
Technological competency; experience with Shopify desired
Computer literacy, data entry and data processing skills
Energetic, confident and adaptable personality
Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
Verbal and written communication with others
Able to lift/carry/move/push/pull objects up to 20lbs minimum including fixtures and product
Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time
